Now that the new year has settled in and the stream of Fashion Weeks have kicked off, I'm seeing emerald everywhere. Clothes, accessories, interior decorations, etc. it has taken over. It just makes me want to sing "One Short Day" from Wicked!
How I would style it:
Since I'm still on my black-is-the-new-black kick, I'm planning on incorporating the jewel tone through accessorizing. A black base comprised of a peplum top, leggings, and pumps paired with chunky geometric emerald earrings or large bangle would make a statement.
If you feel like you can pull off the full body of the color, then go for it! An emerald pant (maybe play around with a pattern here) would look fab with a sheer cream blouse and some gold jewelry.
And don't forget about nail polish! A fresh mani with Sephora + Pantone Universe nail polish will give you the exact Emerald to add a pop to a look.
